STOP PRESS Like much of the British travel network, our Wear Something Wacky Week preparations have been subject to a little delay due to adverse weather conditions! But everything is now back on track and the good news is that we are extending the week into a fortnight, so it will now run from January 25th - February 7th.

Do join in with us or hold a WACKY WEAR dress up or dress down day for us anytime during 2010... a WACKY TIE day, a WEAR YOUR WELLIES TO WORK DAY or a WEAR SOMETHING DOTTY DAY.

Call Wacky Wear officer Vicky Nash on 01483 412751.

Wacky Week in the news

This event is raising money for STEPS education work with young people and our Swingbridge Community Boats

uJust a little touch of wackiness... an outrageous tie, colourful shoes, fun jewellery is all it takes to join in this fashion spectacular with a difference in aid of the Surrey Care Trust.

uWearing jeans instead of a suit may be wacky enough for you, or feel free to roll out the fancy dress and make a real wacky fashion parade of it.

uChoose one day for wacky fun and round up your work colleagues or even have a wacky wear party at home. Everyone makes a donation to take part.

uTell us what you are doing for Wear Something Wacky Week by calling our Wacky Week Officer Vicky here at the Surrey Care Trust on 01483 412751 or by emailing wewillbewearingsomethingwacky@surreycaretrust.org.uk

Goodhand and Forsyth solicitors go wacky at their Redhill office...

Wacky on the ski slopes

Solicitor Liz Hulme loved the idea of Wear Something Wacky Week. The Redhill practice of Goodhand and Forsyth where she works supported the week and Liz had been encouraging her work colleagues to take part, although she herself was going on holiday, ski-ing in France. Undeterred, Liz joined in on the ski slopes of the Serre Chevalier resort. A neon orange tutu - to wear over her ski suit – was an essential item for her suitcase and Liz also persuaded everyone else in her holiday party of 21 to join in Wear Something Wacky Week en piste.

...whilst their colleague Liz Hulme goes wacky on the ski slopes and gets everyone else to join in too!

And, of course, there was more wackiness in the Surrey Care Trust Milford office
